Scene from TRLT

A scene from my Lion King fan fiction, Simba's Pride: The Road Less Traveled ( [link] ). It's basically "Simba's Pride" with a stronger plot, more fleshed-out characters, and oh yeah -- Kiara has a twin brother.

This scene happens when Simba announces that the pride has no choice but go to war with Zira's pride, and Kiara refuses to believe his claim that Kovu is a cold-blooded killer. She tries to run away, and two lionesses block her path (just like in SP). Then she tries again, two more block her way, she swerves and tries to run around them, but one lioness leaps into her path, and Kiara knocks her down...and then realises that that lioness is her maternal grandmother, Sarafina.

The second lion in the center of the picture is Tanabi, Kiara's brother. I included a few minor lionesses from my story as well. The lioness standing in front of Sarafina is Kifaa, and the two in the lower left corner are Yakuti (who is normally a light rust color, but because of the lighting, looks pink...yewww) and Ramla.
