Description

This is a crossover where obscurity meets omnipresence.

It's a crossover between an early adventure game by LucasArts called Loom and Disney/Pixar's "Finding Nemo."

To explain: In the beginning of Loom, the protagonist, Bobbin Threadbare, a young Weaver, is on a small island. He posesses a tall, wooden pole called a distaff, which, when used correctly, can alter the fabric of reality.
The player has to do a lot of experimenting to learn how to use the distaff to do a myriad of things, including dying objects a different color, opening or closing objects, twisting or sharpening objects, or even turning straw into gold.

Anyway, at the docks of the island, there is a large, unopened clam sitting on the rocks, and there are also several hungry looking seagulls see screenshot here > [link] ) The basic seagull sprite actually got reused in three or four games made after Loom. If you use the distaff to open the clam, one of the gulls flies down and starts eating it.

As for "Finding Nemo," there are several thousand seagulls who are always begging for food, and saying "Mine??" in an amazingly gull-like manner.

So, you put two and two together, and you get this little sketch.

Uh oh....will Bobbin lose his distaff again?

Bobbin: *watching seagulls make off with distaff* I can't seem to hold on to that thing.
