Kiara meets two birdies that she's never seen before..heh heh.
Either I just snagged the idea for this scenario from out of the ether, or I've been playing the second Discworld game too long (there's that comical pair of purple vultures that starts following you around in Act 2, remember? Anyone know what I'm talking about? Hello? Anyone...
Hehe. Made me smile. I like the way that vulture burps, and that emptyheaded expression of Kiara's.
That reminds me a bit of that short Simba's Pride comic, "Birds of a feather". *wonders if html works here for linking the comic*
I've read lots about Discworld and DW games from JessKat's LJ, but haven't played the games. Read only one book, too.
They are fun, but they're very hard to find nowadays. The first game can be downloaded (which isn't exactly legal, but the company that created it is no more, so the point is moot), but you'll have to do some serious hunting (preferably on Ebay) if you want to find the second. I'm a bit fan of obsolete computer games (adventures in particular, i. e., puzzles with a plot), so I enjoyed the first two DW games. I probably won't play the third game, though.
Ah yes...the books...they're a touchy spot for me, as you might be aware. Speculation on the past is usually pointless, but I might've become a Pratchett fan if Jasper Fforde hadn't gotten to me first.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
